We currently collect very limited information:

Email address — when you join our waitlist, we collect your email address so we can notify you when Bearing launches.
Form source — we record which form you used to sign up (hero or footer) for our own internal analytics.
Standard web logs — like most websites, our hosting provider automatically collects basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not control or actively use this data.

We do not currently collect location data, payment information, or any other personal information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

To send you launch announcements and updates about Bearing
To notify you when beta testing or early access becomes available
To understand general interest in the product

We will never sell your email address or personal information to third parties. We will never use your information for purposes other than those described above without asking you first.

4. How We Store Your Information

Waitlist email addresses are stored securely through Formspree, our form processing provider. You can review Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We retain your email address until you request deletion or until the Bearing app launches and you choose not to continue receiving communications.

Request access to the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information

Unsubscribe from any communications we send you

Our website does not currently use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar service at this time.

If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify waitlist members.

7. Children's Privacy

Bearing is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

As Bearing develops into a full application, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect any new data practices. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email.
